Cork)** is plausibly a brother of **James Murphy (b. ~1816 Ballycrovane, JJM's paternal grandfather per GEDCOM)** — they differ by only 2 years and could be siblings in the same Beara Murphy family. If so, Cornelius is JJM's great-uncle, his sons John + Jeremiah Murphy are JJM's first cousins once removed, and the Con Murphy + Katie pair (d. 1944 / 1912) are next-generation Beara Murphy cousins.
