Murphy, who was recently appointed store superintendent at the Hennessy store, has been further promoted to the general management of the Centerville branch, and is succeeded in the Butte store by E. J. Devine, who will act in that capacity from now on. This well merited promotion has followed years of hard and conscientious work on the part of both employes of this establishment. Mr. Devine for 23 years has been an employe of Hennessy's, and Mr. Murphy has been for 16 years with the concern. The promotions are in line with the policy of E. A. Brown, manager of the store, who believes in rewarding the faithful services of old-time employes.
