After services the marchers proceed to the Lewisohn block (HQ of Division No. 3) and disband. 100 AOH members from Anaconda will come over with the Phil Sheridan club and the Smelter City Fife and Drum Corps. Afternoon — public entertainment at the Auditorium at 2 o'clock. W. K. Dwyer (superintendent of schools, Anaconda) to deliver an address. Irish songs, Irish dances, entertainment "dear to the heart of Celts." Evening — three Hibernian dances: at Hibernia Hall in Centerville, the Coliseum, and the Pallas Hall. **County President James J. Murphy will be marshal of the day.** Maurice J. McDonough is the secretary. Committees: - Halls, printing and music — T. J. McCarthy, Edward Lawlor, and J. J. Murphy. - Tickets — Larry Duggan, J. K. # IRISH TO MARCH ON ST. PATRICK'S DAY ## ALL-DAY OBSERVANCE OF IRELAND'S NATIONAL HOLIDAY ## BUTTE AND ANACONDA JOIN *Parade, special church services, public entertainment and three dances to mark March 17 here. Program is completed.* *The Anaconda Standard, Monday morning, March 2, 1914, p. 7.* St. Patrick's day will be widely observed in Butte, judging by the plans formulated yesterday by a committee from the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Larry Duggan was chairman and the meeting was well attended. There will be a parade, a special mass, public meeting in the afternoon and three grand balls in the evening, in addition to the numerous private celebrations that are planned for the day. It is expected that 100 members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians from Anaconda will join in the Butte celebration, as the Phil Sheridan club of Anaconda with the Smelter City Fife and Drum Corps will observe the day in Butte. After many years Butte is to have a parade on St. Patrick's day. The parade will form at the Hibernian hall in Centerville and at 9 o'clock will march to St. Joseph's church in South Butte. There, Father McCormick, who is county chaplain for the Hibernians, will sing a special mass.
