Two and a half years later (Oct 1912) JJM is himself elected county president. This establishes the upward trajectory. Also: John V. Dwyer (Assistant County Attorney) is a recurring Butte AOH figure who appears again in the 1922 St Patrick's banquet attendee list (born Michigan there). DWYER surname is the same as the 1918 Kilcatherine drowning victims who were JJM's cousins. Worth tracing whether Asst. County Attorney John V. Dwyer of Butte is related.
