Vol. XXIV No. 4. Front-page lead.* The grand ball last evening, the election of officers yesterday and the visit to the Washoe annex in the forenoon were the principal things accomplished by the Ancient Order of Hibernians and the ladies' auxiliary of the order on the second day of their convention. The ball last evening in the large hall of the Anaconda annex of the order was a pleasant affair. The ballroom was beautifully decorated with the national colors and excellent music helped make the occasion an enjoyable one. Missoula was chosen as the meeting place for the next biennial convention of the order. Numerous changes were made in the constitution of the order and a policy of closer co-operation between the state officers and those of the local divisions was decided upon. It was determined to begin a campaign for the extension of the order. ## List of Officers. The following officers were elected by the Hibernians: President, James Cummins of Butte; Vice president, Frank Fitzpatrick of Anaconda; treasurer, Martin Durkin of Great Falls; secretary, Neil Collins of Anaconda. The ladies' auxiliary elected the following officers: President, Mrs. Bridget Keithner of Anaconda; vice president, Mrs. Ella Farley of Missoula; treasurer, Mrs. Bridget Lynch of Division 4 Butte; secretary, Mrs. Mamie Lenahan of Division 1 Butte. All these elections were made by acclamation. After the ladies had completed their business they adjourned to the A. O. H. hall, where there was a joint installation of officers. Mrs. Hugh Daly of Gregson Springs installed the officers for the ladies' auxiliary and T. J. Kelly, former vice president of Anaconda, installed the newly-elected officers into their positions. The Hibernians passed resolutions thanking the local divisions and the citizens of Anaconda for the entertainment given the delegates to the convention. Another resolution thanked the members of the choir of St. Paul's church for its services during the convention. Today will be given over to pleasure. The delegates will be taken to Gregson Springs and Warm Springs, where they will be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Daly and Dr. J. M. Williams. All automobile owners have promised the use of their machines for the entertainment of the delegates are requested to have their machines in front of A. O.
