Gregson Hot Springs
Part of: Montana
Also: Gregson Springs, Gregson Hot Springs
Hot-springs resort north of Butte, on the road to Anaconda. Co- owned by Eli Gregson and Pat Murphy until management transferred to Isaac Stoner and Milo French on 30 May 1886 (see 1886-06-19_butte-weekly-miner_gregson-hot-springs-new-management). The 1912 Butte AOH state convention included visits to Gregson Springs in its Anaconda itinerary — the resort persists as a Butte Irish social-calendar node 26 years after the Murphy ownership.
