(Header: "THE BUTTE")* Division No. 1 of the A. O. H. elected the following delegates and alternates last night for the state convention, which will be held in Anaconda September 5 and 6. Delegates — Judge J. J. Lynch, James J. McCarthy, James Cummins, T. J. McCarthy, John Gribben. Alternates — Con J. Murphy, Peter Shannon, Pat Craig, Dan Leahy, James Gleason. Tom Kiely and Patrick Wallace have been elected from division No. 3. The officers of the county board and their delegates follow: Delegates — Denis O'Neill, C. H. Gallagher, James F. Hurley, Maurice Goggins, James Connolly. Alternates — W. J. Sewell, James Murphy, John J. Crowley, Thomas Kenny, W. P. McCarty. An interesting meeting was held last evening. Extended remarks were made by Judge Lynch, James Murphy and others. The delegates will meet Saturday night after the meeting of division No. 3. The program prepared for the Hibernians in Anaconda includes a banquet the night of the 5th and a ball the night of the 6th. Visits will be paid to Warm Springs and Gregson Springs. The Anaconda Hibernians and the ladies auxiliary of that city are doing all they can to have everything in readiness for the convention.
