The career arc is therefore: Division 2 president (Dec 1909) → county chief sentinel (June 1910) → county president-elect (Oct 1912). The Dec 1909 presidency may have been a Division-level appointment in preparation for promotion to county-level work in 1910 — a classic apprenticeship pattern. ALSO: Patrick Lyne (= Patrick Lyne who appears in the 1911 St Patrick's banquet attendees and in many later clippings) serves under JJM here as the same Division 2 sentinel role JJM would step into himself six months later at the county level.
