Per the 1883 JJM Birth and Baptismal Certificate (parenthetical "Born in the townland of Sleave"), this is JJM's actual birthplace — more specific than the "Ardgroom" the GEDCOM records, but in the same parish ecosystem. Modern OSI townland-spelling not yet verified; could be "Slieve" or a variant of "Sliabh" (mountain).
