Catholic parish on the west end of the Beara peninsula (Berehaven Union, Co. Cork). The 1838 Shea-Sullivan marriage catalogued in the archive was at Allihies. Distinct from the Eyeries parish to the east (where the Murphy + Lyne + Sullivan family records cluster), but in the same Beara Catholic diocesan area.
