Christopher Murphy (JJM's paternal cousin, b. ~1884 Ireland)
family confidence: 75 — strong
Per the 1910 US Census Butte Ward 6, "Christopher Murphy" was living with Ellen Murphy's household as "Cousin" — age 26, single, Ireland-born, immigrated 1904, naturalized, working as a Miner in a Copper mine. Listed as cousin of household head Ellen Murphy, but per Murphy-side lineage almost certainly a paternal cousin of JJM (son of one of Patrick Murphy's siblings). Most plausibly a son of Michael Murphy of Ardgroom (the 1901 census Michael), making him a first cousin to both JJM and Daniel L. Murphy. Confirms the Ardgroom-Butte chain migration: Christopher came to Butte in 1904 and lived with his uncle's family (the Pat-Ellen household, while Patrick was at Warm Springs asylum 1908-1912).
