# SECOND NIGHT OF STYLE SHOW HUGE SUCCESS ## Enthusiasm and Rapt Interest Marks Display of Latest Creations at American Theater by Butte Miner. *The Butte Miner, Saturday, September 25, 1920, p. 1.* Enthusiasm and rapt interest marked the second night of the Miner's style show at the American theater last evening. It was a great success from start to finish. The models were introduced by Miss Lucille Staebler, who was gowned in a gorgeous dancing frock of yellow taffeta, gracefully draped with silk fold, one of the pretty pictures of the show. The two stunning models who displayed bathing suits were the first to appear. Hennessy's presented May Forvilly in a striking grey jersey suit, trimmed with bright pink silk lacing. She wore a pink and white bathing cap and socks, with white beach shoes. Miss Neita Parmenter, representing the Murphy-Softley, looked smart in an orange suit, with black stripes, and cap and socks to match. The most up-to-the-minute street gowns were shown, by models who carried themselves with ease and grace. ## Afternoon Gowns. Blow's National presented Miss Ann Hickey in a handsome afternoon gown of black charmeuse, trimmed with jet beads, and gracefully draped. To complete this costume, she wore a gorgeous picture hat of black panne velvet, trimmed with ostrich feathers, and faced with coral velvet, presenting a most attractive appearance. Miss Lucille Lapp, modeling for the Home Supply company, wore a gorgeous afternoon frock of black charmeuse, with trimming of steel beads, and a stunning hat of black panne velvet, with a top of silver metal cloth, and adorned with ostrich feathers of henna and bright blue. Sheehan's presented Miss Nell Trask, in a smart and effective afternoon gown of rich panne velvet, with a dainty neckpiece of duchess lace and a bouffant skirt. She wore a stunning picture hat, with a facing of the popular metal cloth in blue and silver, and adorned with uncurled ostrich feathers. ## School Clothes. Since school days are here again, practical and smart suggestions for the little school girl were displayed. Miss Lorna Dailey, modelling for Hennessy's, appeared in a smart gown of blue serge, embroidered with blue and yellow, with a knife-pleated skirt. A navy blue beaver sailor hat completed the costume. Hennessy's also presented little Miss Eveline Zundel in an effective coat of silvertone cloth, with a high beaver collar and cuffs, and a brown beaver hat. The street suits displayed were very modish and smart, and were of the latest cut and style. Weinberg's presented Miss Dreda Finley, attired in one of the smartest of the new fall suits. It is modeled from negro brown serge with bands of steel beads and a collar of beaver. The hat which Miss Finley wore came from Cockrell's hat shop, and is of navy blue panne velvet with turned-up brim of copper metallic brocade. Miss Mary Hickey, representing the King-Cole company, looked charming and smart in a fall suit of lake blue with a choker collar of beaver and a chic hat of black velvet with a turned-up brim embroidered in colored silk. Miss Hickey, as on the previous night, was unusually well received by the audience. Hennessy's presented Miss Ellen Carlson in one of the very latest of new fall suits. It is fashioned in fine gold thread. A smart collar and cuffs of seal add the final touch to the creation. The hat she wore is made with the fashionable off-the-face brim.
