Also: Clounaglaskin, Cloon-na-glaskin

Townland in Castletownbere parish, Beara peninsula. Per the 1992 Donald V. Murphy reader's letter (Montana Standard, 1992-05-29), the ancestral home of the Butte Murphys — Michael C. Murphy (1788–1890) and his son Timothy "Tady" Murphy (b. 1825) lived here. Eight of Tady's 15 children emigrated to Butte in the late 1800s. Modern Irish form not yet verified — possibly Cluain na nGlaisean ("meadow of the little streams") or similar. To verify against an OSI townland list for Castletownbere parish.
