Fresh first, 38½, no change. Standards, 35, no change. Pullets, 41, up 1. Pewees, 25, no change. SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 10. (AP)—[text about San Francisco produce prices] Cheese, California fancy first, 37½. Topics include:] **Near Completion** The Richfield Oil Company should have two more wells on production shortly... [text continues regarding oil production statistics and various company activities] **Culprit Builds Plant** The California Petroleum Corporation is building a large gasoline plant at its refinery on El Segundo, Redington Beach, according to field reports. The Cosden company has acquired the old plant in the original Biltmore of the Culprit field. The additional capacity grew to the original company when it bought the California Gasoline Company about a year ago. The old plant also is being expanded, and the two plants are being connected by a steel pipeline about three-quarters and one-half miles in length. **Goes Good Well** The Barnsdall-Garfield Midway Oil Company has struck what promises to be a comparatively fine new wells in the Midway field. The well came in as a 225-barrel well on the Del Amo lease. It was drilled on a location in the eastern part of the field and was drilled to 3800 feet. This is the deepest in the O-CMA zone, although drilled to Torrance for many months [illegible]. **Bliss Well** With only a few days remaining before they complete the Torrance Beach decide whether they wish more drilling, reports from the Torrance lease today is to the strongest bearing of the well. There is something to the effect that should the well bear a test, no drilling will take place in the Torrance area for some months yet. A City Trustee will not canvass the possibility of the Pacific Electric Railway Company retaining its lease while the lease is extended before drilling may begin. Many oil men in Huntington Beach believe that the Chanslor-Canfield Midway Oil Company opened a new horizon of drilling, according to reports. **Drills on Beach** The Standard Oil Company sprang another surprise in the Huntington Broads at Huntington Beach yesterday, when it started drilling a new well between the Pacific Electric tracks, to take advantage of the unusually fine result. There are also reports to the effect that almost where the waves break on the beach there is this feeling as to the effect that the Standard Company plans a short extension in front and will in the very other direction be able to reduce its field operations. The lease upon which the wells have been set up is being held by the Pacific Electric Company at the regular annual rate, which it has been having trouble extending. There is enough room between the railroad and the break at the very best to enter a rig as the rigs were set down in the morning. **New Competition** Two new wells are expected to come in from Canyon in the next day or two. **Official Report** No. 1 A on the desert. The Rogent Oil Company is felt to be receiving production figures for a recent completion at 5187. The field is not believed to be developed even slightly before announcement of the completion is made and even so there is competition in it enough. **Official Report** Co-driol operations reported to be in oil matters, operator: G. D. Foran: Weekly report ending October 9th; these show twenty-two new wells drilled, or completed, in production during the previous week. Of this output, seventeen were located in Los Angeles county, two in the Huntington Beach field, one each in Santa Long Beach, the Long Beach filed, Blossom fields, as well as one each other. The field shows five in the Sante Cruz county, one in Santa Cruz county. The total new wells this year having started to bore as a whole is more or less 1741. Tests for water shut-off this week numbered 106 as against compared with thirty during the previous week.
